Richard V. Mack is a shareholder at Mack Drucker & Watson, PLC He is a State Bar of Arizona Board Certified Real Estate Specialist and AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. He has also been designated as a Southwest Super Lawyer. Mr. Mack practices commercial litigation with an emphasis on real estate litigation. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Arizona and before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Mack graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas with a Bachelor of Business Administration, with an emphasis in economics, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona.
Mr. Mack has defended real estate agents and brokerage firms in over 1000 civil litigations in every county in the State of Arizona. Mr. Mack also presents seminars on real estate and brokerage litigation and risk reduction matters for various continuing education providers, including the Maricopa County Bar Association, Lorman Education Services, the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business, and the Arizona Association of REALTORS®. Mr. Mack also represents contractors, appraisers, architects and other professional in real estate and commercial litigation matters.
Mr. Mack also serves as general counsel to the Southeast Valley Regional Association of REALTORS® which has approximately 10,000 members. He also works closely with the General Counsel for the Arizona Association of REALTORS® on various industry issues.
At the Arizona Association of REALTORS®, Mr. Mack has served on the Seller's Property Disclosure Statement form committee charged with revising and amending the Seller's Property Disclosure form used throughout the State of Arizona. He also served on the Agency Study Group at the Arizona Association of REALTORS® which worked closely with the Legislature and the Arizona Department of Real Estate to draft legislation addressing real estate agent roles and duties. Mr. Mack recently served on the Short Sale Task Force at the Arizona Department of Real Estate. The task force was responsible for drafting the Short Sale Seller's Advisory, which is used in short sale transactions throughout Arizona.
