Erin E. Szajna’s practice focuses on development and commercial real estate transactions, including, leasing, acquisitions and sales, and financing. She has represented local and national developers and investors in all phases of real estate development, including preparation and negotiation of leases, purchase agreements, development agreements, CC&Rs, easement and reciprocal access agreements, and the review of all phases of due diligence and title materials. Ms. Szajna has also represented, on a national basis, landlords and tenants in all types of retail, industrial, office and medical office building leases and management agreements and in all aspects of the leasing process, including the negotiation of leases, work letters extension agreements, termination and work out agreements, SNDAs, estoppel certificates and related documents. Related to that, she has acted as local counsel in reviewing deeds of trust and other loan documents for lenders and borrowers and commercial leases for landlords and tenants to determine enforceability issues.

Prior to joining Mack Drucker & Watson, Ms. Szajna was an associate at Lewis and Roca LLP, where she practiced in the commercial real estate and finance group. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Arizona Women Lawyers Association, and is a law student mentor for the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law Women’s Law Student Association.
