Carlotta L. Turman is a senior associate attorney, who concentrates in civil litigation principally representing clients in the areas of real estate litigation, commercial litigation and construction defect law. Ms. Turman graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Turman worked as a Probation Officer for Maricopa County and was an active participant in the DUI Court Program. Ms. Turman received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota Law School.
Being an Arizona native, Ms. Turman returned to the Valley of the Sun to work for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office in the Liability Management Section. There, Ms. Turman defended the Department of Corrections against inmate liability lawsuits concerning civil rights and constitutional law matters primarily in federal court and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Turman is licensed to practice in Arizona and represents both individuals and large business entities in state and federal courts throughout the State of Arizona, mediation, and appellate practice, as well as before the Arizona Department of Real Estate and Arizona Registrar of Contractors.
